International Office of National Drug Control Policy
International chapter of The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), a component of the Executive Office of the President that establishes policies, priorities, and objectives for the Nation's drug control program. The goals of the program are to reduce illicit drug use, manufacturing, and trafficking, drug-related crime and violence, and drug-related health consequences.

Latin America Working Group (LAWG)
The Latin America Working Group and its sister organization, the Latin America Working Group Education Fund, carry out the coalition's mission to encourage US policies towards Latin America that promote human rights, justice, peace and sustainable development. As a coalition, LAWG represents the interests of over 60 major religious, humanitarian, grassroots and policy organizations to decision makers in Washington. There is a section of the website dedicated to Colombia, with a Congress Watch subsection on the latest congressional decisions regarding this country, as well as the different initiatives developed by LAWG.

The Center for International Policy
This center was founded in 1975 by former diplomats and peace activists. It provides selected documentation by several US Agencies on Colombia, drug trafficking, Plan Colombia and other related issues. In addition, it presents the section: Just the Facts: A Civilian's Guide to US Defense and Security Assistance to Latin America and the Caribbean, with funding information classified by country and program, as well as related links.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
Independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State. The Latin America and the Caribbean section of the website provides country and regional profiles, key issues such as Illegal Narcotics Eradication, a press room with information on the region, and other information of interest.

United States Institute of Peace (USIP)
Independent, nonpartisan, national institution established and funded by Congress. Its mission is to help to prevent and resolve violent international conflicts, promote post-conflict stability and democratic transformations, and increase peacebuilding capacity, tools, and intellectual capital worldwide. USIP does this by empowering others with knowledge, skills, and resources, as well as by its direct involvement in peacebuilding efforts around the globe. This website also provides links by topical categories to resources primarily in English providing information on Colombia, the peace process in Colombia and U.S. foreign policy on Colombia.

USINFO delivers official information about current U.S. foreign policy and about American life and culture. This site is produced and maintained by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs. The United States and Andean Region section of the website provides news, fact sheets, statements, press releases, and key reports regarding the Andean countries, as well as other useful information. In addition, the Andean Region section provides an Andean Region archive, special subsections with news and reports on Colombia and Venezuela, as well as information of related issues such as human rights and bribery and corruption, among others.
